What is an Auto Responder?
If you are new to marketing, this might be your first question: What the heck is an Auto Responder? You may have experienced the power of an auto responder and not even known it. An auto responder is a program which lets its members set up marketing campaigns through a series of letters. By using an auto responder, you can set up a marketing campaign and release the information you want your prospects to know at the pace you want them to know it. You can send one letter or 100 letters, it is all up to you.
How do you find people to send your letter to? This is where a CAPTURE page is used. You create a capture page which is linked to your auto responder. One: You have the ability to contact the prospect about your current opportunity / product. I read some where that a person will need to be exposed to an opportunity 7 times before they will decide to buy it or try it. By sending the prospect information via an auto responder, you can expose them to your opportunity more than one time. You can create your letter campaign to build on your opportunities strong points. You can develop a relationship with your prospect through the emails you send. In most cases, at some point the prospect will either try your opportunity or opt out of receiving your emails. But, if you present the information as an expert in the field and as a new found friend, in most cases they will want to remain on your mailing list.
Two: By capturing names and email addresses, you have now created a mailing list. That is right - you have heard or will here it a million times - the money is in the list. This is the TRUE BEAUTY of an auto responder. You have now created a mailing list of your very own. This is not a safe list mailing list but this is a list of people who want to receive information from YOU! They opted in, they have stayed opted in, this is YOUR MAILING LIST! As an Internet marketer, there will be more than one product you promote in your marketing career. You now have a list of prospects that want to hear from you. They want to know your opinion. If you find something great and worthy, they want you to share it with them. (I hope I explained this well because like I said, I didn't get it right away.
